Some of the regular major programmes conducted by the Samiti are:

1. The Annual All India Competitions in Music and Dance conducted in January-February, every year.

2. Vasantotsvam in March-April, around the Ugadi time.

3. A.V.Savithri Memorial Light Music Competitions in July.

4. Dasara Celebrations around October.

5. Navya Nataka Samiti anniversary celebrations in the month of December.

There are, in addition to, other programmes that may be organised from time to time.

VASANTOTSAVAM: Since 1995, Ugadi ( Telugu New Year ) is being celebrated by organising Vasantotsavam (Spring Festival). This is mainly organised to provide a stage of performances by the prize winners of the All India Competitions and other deserving amateurs, besides facilitating noted luminaries in different fields of Arts, Music and Dance.

LIGHT MUSIC COMPETITIONS: These Competitions are conducted every year, since 1996 in memory of late A.V. Savithri, a noted artiste of yester years, who was closely connected with the Samiti in its production of one of the dance ballets " Lavanaraju Kala ". Competitions are conducted for amateurs in Hyderabad and prize distribution programme arranged on Savithri's death anniversary on 28th July. This is a very popular event like the All India Competitions in classical dance and music.
